About The Role
We have a new opportunity to join the award winning Creative and Colleague Communications team as our Colleague Communications Consultant, supporting our finance transformation programme.
This role will see support the Creative & Colleague Communications Manager and Colleague Communications Business Partners to manage various internal communication channels and colleague events.
Key responsibilities include leading cross-company projects and providing communication support to internal stakeholders, whilst ensuring timely delivery. This means you’ll create content that reinforces our values.
To support delivery, you will build a strong internal network to source and share engaging content. You’ll be producing content for our Sharepoint intranet, creating our weekly colleague newsletter and support on colleague events to make sure we are continuously engaging with our colleagues and bringing our news stories to life while always following best practice.
Continuous improvement will form part of your role too, and you will coordinate colleague discussion groups to capture business sentiment and trends. This will make sure we improve communication effectiveness.
About You
If you have experience in internal communications and change management, then we want to hear from you.
You’ll demonstrate experience in planning and delivering effective internal communication campaigns that are concise yet engaging. You’ll also look for new and emerging technologies and how they can be applied to improve the effectiveness of communication.
Your high level of organisation, project management experience and skills in event management will support you to create engaging internal events.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong background in creating diverse communication materials. Therefore, you’ll be familiar with a broad range of communication channels both online and offline.

Interviews will take place in person at Northumbria House, Pity Me, Durham on Wednesday 10 June 2026. There will be a requirement to complete a task to be presented during interviews.
